Butterflies for Priscilla MMSC57 CC274

This card is for 2 challenges:
1. Midnight Madness Sketch Challenge - MMSC57 - found here: http://priscillastyles.blogspot.com/2010/06/midnight-madness-sketch-challenge-57.html; and
2. Splitcoaststampers Color Challenge - CC274 - found here: http://www.splitcoaststampers.com/forums/showthread.php?t=493927.

Ribbons & Bows at Midnight

I made this card for a Caardvarks challenge to use ribbon in a unique way found here: http://caardvarks.blogspot.com/2009/10/take-bow-sponsored-by-may-arts.html

I wrapped the ribbon around my punched medallion and made a pretty bow on the top.

I used the Midnight Madness Sketch Challenge (MMSC22) found here for my layout: http://priscillastyles.blogspot.com/2009/10/midnight-madness-week-22-mmsc22.html.

Flower Medallion with Butterflies

This is a card that I made the other day with the help of my friend, Amy (Alibry on Splitcoast). The butterfly panel was done by her, and she showed me how to make the little flower medallion. tflAnd thank you, Amy!!

Snowman in Diamonds CAS21

This card is for SCS Clean and Simple Challenge (CAS21), to use glitter, stickles or sparkle on our card. I used DCWV bg paper with glittery snowflakes, rhinestones, glittery ribbon, and diamond stickles on my snowman. I know the card is a little out of season, especially since it's been in the 90's here in Florida, but I just love the diamond stickles on this little guy!! tfl

You are My Sunshine SC231

This card is for SCS Sketch Challenge (SC231). My 3-panel background is from a mural wallpaper sample book. The sun is a chipboard piece I painted with acrylic paint and added a circle stamped with the little smiling sun and colored with markers. I popped him up with pop dots and used a little sunshine punch I have had forever to make the little sun border along the edge. Inside is stamped "You are my sunshine." tfl

2. Midnight Madness (MMSC3) sketch challenge;

5. Jacksonbelle Challenge (JBE055) to use polka dots.

Gift tin

Sorry about the sideways image...don't know why sometimes they come over that way, and I can't figure out how to fix it. Funny thing is, the original was not taken that way, and I certainly didn't change it on my original! Oh well...guess we can all exercise our necks!! lol
Here is a gift tin that I decorated for today's SCS Ways to Use It Challenge #197, a last-minute gift, trying to keep it simple and quick. Well, with me, anytime I'm designing something from my own head, it's never quick. lol Now, if I make another, which I do need to, it will be quick and simple. This is going to hold some earrings that I will make. Speaking of which...better get to it!!! tfl

Gingko Blues CC197

While waiting for this morning's color challenge at SCS, I stumbled across Susie B's gallery (which a person could get lost in for a long time!!) and decided I wanted to case this card: http://www.splitcoaststampers.com/gallery/photo/1092209 What a great gallery!! I also wanted to use a paint chip that I got at Home Depot the other day.
So...here's my take on it with today's color challenge, which is Baja Breeze, Kiwi Kisses, Basic Gray, and (optional, if you dare!!!) Not Quite Navy...so, of course, I had to include the Navy!!! I used kiwi kiss SU ribbon that was given to me by Silke Ledlow. Thanks, Silke!! Anyway, it was fun and hope you enjoy. tfl

Pearly Thanks WT193

Perfect timing on this challenge to use pearls...I just received my pearlized watercolors in the mail the other day and hadn't had a chance to use them yet. This was a fun card to make. tfl

Wintery Medallion, SC203 and TLC195

Love this sketch! Had a plan, but it got pushed aside when I discovered a piece of snowflake cuttlebugged cardstock left over from another project...thought that would look great in a medallion, and the idea "snowballed" from there...hehe. tfl
