Birthday Fish CC251

This card is for Splitcoaststampers' Color Challenge (CC251). I used a piece of recycled wallpaper with the cute little fish on it, and stamped happy birthday on the bottom and layered it with the basic gray, barely banana and dusty durango. Kept it simple for easy mailing, and to be used as a masculine card. tfl

Flowery Thanks TLC253

This card is for Splitcoaststampers' Technique Lovers Challenge (TLC253), to use a Van Gogh technique. Time for thank you cards to go out, so thought I'd do this. I love the way it came out, and it was so easy and simple. tfl

Bird in Frame MMSC33

This is for the Midnight Madness Sketch Challenge (MMSC33) found here:
I used negative pieces from other projects that were laying around on my craft table and decided the end result went well with a pic of my dh that I had in a frame just waiting for something on the other side. So....here it is. tfl

Christmas Mouse SC259

This card is for Splitcoaststampers Sketch Challenge (SC259). I had this little Christmas mouse already colored, so it went pretty fast. I love this sketch! I'm sorry, I can't remember where I got this little digital mouse from. Must have been before I started that info in my filenames. If anyone would like credit, please let me know, and I'd be happy to include it.

I'm sending this card to my friend, Deb. She has been mentioned here many times, as she was fighting cancer, and I had requested cards be sent to her. Great news!!! She is in remission!!! Isn't that wonderful! Thank you to all of you who sent cards and prayed for her!

Christmas Blue Jay WT248 MMSC31

This card is for 2 challenges:

1) Splitcoaststamper's Ways To Use It Challenge (WT248), which is found here: http://www.splitcoaststampers.com/forums/showthread.php?t=471583, to be inspired by a Christmas song. I chose "Blue Christmas".

2) Midnight Madness Sketch Challenge (MMSC31), which can be found here: http://priscillastyles.blogspot.com/.

The stamped image is from Inkadinkadoo. I misted the inked stamp to get a watercolor effect and then added berries with a marker. My Christmas cards are done and out, so now I'm starting on thank you cards. tfl

What I've Been Up To!!!

Hooray!!! Going to the post office today with my cards and packages!!! One more thing to make for my mom-in-law and some wrapping for local family and friends, but other than that...the pressure is off a little! Phew! I love making my cards and gifts for Christmas, but I think I might have bitten off a little more than I could comfortably chew this year...hope they enjoy! lol

Hoping to be able to get back to some cardmaking one of these days.

Anyway, here are my most recent projects. Thanks for stopping by. Hugs!
