Tin Snowflakes TLC240

This card is for Splitcoaststampers' TLC240 challenge, to cuttlebug on foil. I used snowflakes from a snowflake 3-D kit I bought on clearance last year at Michael's. The little snowflake square is leftover from cutting snowflakes out of glitter paper with my cuttlebug die. "Waste not, want not" lol! Also added a little charm I had made years ago and had in my jewelry-making stash. tfl

Autumn Sunset WT237, SC215

This card is for today's Splitcoaststampers' Ways to Use It Challenge (WT237), to work outside of our comfort zone. I love brayered backgrounds, but have always been scared to do the brayering and masking for this kind of card. I've always used chalking for this. So...I did it...and I love the way it came out! Hope you like it too. The layout is SC215. tfl

Sunny Thanks icsketch#33

This card is for a very good friend of mine. Can't say more as I might ruin the surprise, but I'm pretty sure she'll like it. I used a sketch from icsketches.blogspot.com and a digital image from Lindsay at http://www.shophandmade.com/Store/Lindsay. This is one of my favorite digital stamps! I cut out a piece of an overlay that my friend, Amy, gave me, sprayed it with gold Shimmer Mist, and used that as embellishment. I had also sprayed the shimmer mist on my cocoa background. I found envelopes at Big Lots the other day, and the shimmery brown square envelope and the overlay from Amy were my inspiration for this card. tfl
