Joel's Camping Scrapbook Page SSHP03

This is a scrapbook page that I made for my son's scrapbook for his birthday. He took a cross-country camping trip this fall. The stamps are Gina K, colored with watercolor pencils and chalks. I have added some sand for dimension. I am submitting it for a challenge to "make a scene", which is found at http://www.saturdayspotlight.blogspot.com/. tfl

Origami Gift

My sister had asked for her crafty friends to make her a origami crane so she can make a mobile out of them. So...I made her 2 and made the little box to put the smaller one in, and sent them off with this cute card I had done for her a while ago. She has 2 golden retrievers, so I think she'll like this. tfl

Core'dinations Birthday

This is just a simple birthday card made with my Cuttlebug and Core'dinations paper, sanding after cuttlebugging. tfl

Autumn Birthday

This card is for my stepson's birthday. He is in Afghanistan, coming home the middle of November. I hope he likes it. tfl

Coffee Break S2G

This one is made with a freebie digital stamp from Sallys2Girls. This is a shaker card Amy and I did together. Mine is going to be from my hubby since he LOVES coffee, and since I stole the beans out of his coffemaker..lol. I left the cup and saucer white, which wasn't easy for me to do...hehe...because he will only drink out of a cup with at least white inside!!! But, I love him! Oh, and we had to have peanut butter frosting on the cupcake!! ~.~

Snowgirl Fun SSHP02 FLLCOCT

Ok, here's another one! This one is for a challenge (SSHP02) to "Dress Up Those Trees" found here at http://www.saturdayspotlight.blogspot.com/.
It is also for Flourishes "A Season That Sparkles Challenge" (FLLCOCT), found here: http://flourishesnewsletter.blogspot.com/2009/10/season-that-sparkles.html
Amy and I made these together, paper-piecing the trees and decorating them, and tearing paper for the snowbanks, cuttlebug die-cut snowflakes, stickles...you name, it we did it...lol. Well, almost. The little snowgirl image (guess it's a snowman, but I made mine into a snowgirl) is from Creative Clear Stamps. tfl

Snowy Mountain Scene MTSC43

This one is for Mercy's Tuesday Sketch Challenge (MTSC43) found here: http://lordhavemercy-mercykerin.blogspot.com/. It was done with the dryer sheet technique. The image is from Gina K, colored with chalks and watercolor pencils. tfl

Lupine Sympathy SC249

This card is for Splitcoaststampers' Sketch Challenge (SC249). It just kinda evolved into a sympathy card as I went along. Started with sketch, which this image I colored the other day fit perfectly. Then the bottom was left for sentiment, and I had these sentiment stamps that are usually too big for most cards, but fit this perfectly. I think it works. tfl

Ribbons & Bows at Midnight

I made this card for a Caardvarks challenge to use ribbon in a unique way found here: http://caardvarks.blogspot.com/2009/10/take-bow-sponsored-by-may-arts.html

I wrapped the ribbon around my punched medallion and made a pretty bow on the top.

I used the Midnight Madness Sketch Challenge (MMSC22) found here for my layout: http://priscillastyles.blogspot.com/2009/10/midnight-madness-week-22-mmsc22.html.

Dandelion Serenity CC239

This card is for Splitcoaststampers' Color Challenge (CC239). Kept it clean and simple. The butterfly is punched out of a wallpaper sample. Can you believe how well it matches the ribbon I got out of the dollar bin at Michael's????!!! Love when that kinda thing happens! tfl
