Here are my Easter cards for this year. The image is one I found online. Looks like the little ducks are dancing...aren't they soooo cute??!! The rest is pretty self-explanatory. The inside says Happy Easter and I've stamped some little flowers like I did on the envelopes. tfl

Live, Laugh, Love Squared CAS08
Well, Blogger's done it to me again!!! It put the pic of the card sideways, and I can never seem to correct it when it does that!! So...crank your neck to the right, or levitate your body to the right and you will be looking at it right...hehe. If you hurt yourself, you can sue Blogger, not me! Jeesh! Anyway, the ribbon should be on the bottom. Sorry 'bout that!!
Now...here is my entry for SCS Clean and Simple Challenge (CAS08), which was to make a CAS card using the layout of this card as our guide: http://www.splitcoaststampers.com/gallery/photo/1239703. Love this card by StampGroover!!
I used a pre-embossed card and just added the ribbon and the little square chipboard button, putting rhinestone square brads in the button holes.
On the inside is a sentiment in the orange and yellow saying "Live, Laugh, Love". I cuttlebugged just the side of my envelope to carry through with the square theme. Very clean and simple card. Hope you like it. tfl

Farmhouse Serenity IC173
Here is my entry for today's SCS Inspiration Challenge (IC173). This was the painting I used for inspiration from Glenda Mosher's website: http://glendamosher.blogspot.com/2008/03/watsons-mill.html
I colored it with chalks and pencils. tfl

Silhouette Beauty LSC213
Here is my entry for today's SCS Limited Supplies Challenge (LSC213). We were to use only black and white. Since I love black and white and also since I have 16 of these silhouette stamps to try (right now they are my favorite stamps!), I was thrilled and couldn't wait to play!!!
I used a template found at http://fred-she-said.blogspot.com/ for the piercing on the inside. tfl Hope you like.

Birthday Candles SC221
Here is my entry for today's SCS Sketch Challenge (SC221). I used a pre-embossed card and added the layers, with the top layer popped up on pop-dots. The candles are heat-embossed. Believe it or not, the reason I made the card in these colors was mostly because I had bought this pretty bright green ribbon and was itching to use it!!! lol I cuttlebugged the envelope with the Happy Birthday folder. Hope you like it. tfl

Silhouette CAS07, LPSC08
Here is my entry for SCS Clean and Simple Challenge (CAS07), using punches. Also entering it in a challenge to make a monochromatic card at Little Paper Shop (LPSC08). tfl
Have had a few requests for details on this card, so here goes:
The silhouette stamp can be found at heartsintouch.com. It is Item #28 HIT LADIES HATS SILHOUETTES, and it comes on a sheet of 16 silhouettes. They are on unmounted rubber. I used just the edge of a cuttlebug folder for the embossing on the sides, a punch to make the little photo corners, and another punch to make the scalloped oval, then a sharpie to make the little dots on it. I used a stencil to make the black oval in back of the scalloped one. The clip was white and I colored it with a black sharpie to make it black and just looped the ribbon through on each side and secured in back of the panel with scotch tape.
Happy stamping,
Val

Summer Dream WT210
Here is my entry for today's Ways to Use It Challenge (WT210). We were to use stickers along with rubber stamps. Most of this card is stickers. The rubber stamping is the sand dollar, which I embossed with gold ink and clear powder. Then I added real sand on the bottom of the card and around the girl's blanket. tfl

Hat Lady Silhouette TLC212
Sorry for the sideways photo...Blogger's done it again!!!! Jeesh!
Here is my entry for today's SCS Technique Lovers' Challenge (TLC212). The ribbon framing idea came from Claire at http://waltzingmouse.blogspot.com/2009/02/ribbon-border-how-to.html. The card base is a pre-embossed card although it doesn't show up very well in the picture. Just got these silhouette stamps this weekend and had already done the round frame for them on my computer, although I wish it was darker black to go with all the other black on the card. Anyway, next time I'll know. Hope you like it. tfl

Good Luck WT209 & ST PATRICK
Well, today must be my lucky day!!! While waiting for today's SCS Ways to Use It Challenge (WT209), I made this card for my mil, who is having cateract (sp?) today. Then I came back to check and today's challenge was to make a card with green!!! YEAH!!! I'm also entering a pic of the inside. Of course, I will write a little personal note inside, but wanted to show this since it is the only rubber stamping on the card. The cover is made with a cricut design studio file done by Capadia of Capadia Designs http://capadiadesigns.blogspot.com/. I love her work, and the fact that she shares it with all of us. tfl

Hope for Deb Still Needed
Well, Deb has another couple of months of chemo to go through, so if anyone has not had a chance to send a card, it would be great if you could (See "Hope for Deb" under Labels on this blog). Kat says she hasn't gotten any in a couple of weeks. I will be sending one out tomorrow. Thanks to everyone who has participated so far. You are a great group of wonderful, caring people.

Inspired Friends IC169
Well, got most of my scrapbooking caught up, but trying to work on mini-albums for gifts, so my participation in challenges will be quite sporadic for a while. I love inspiration challenges though, so since I can't usually play much on weekends, will just have to catch up when I can. Here's my entry for this weekend's IC. I love this site for inspiration...wow! I chose this napkin set: http://www.roomservicehome.com/productsl2.asp?dept=683Used a brayer on cuttlebugged panels for the polka dots, and a new stamp from a set I won as blog candy. tfl
