Hi Friends,
Just a note to say I haven't given up on my blog...just been away. Bob's son, Michael, just came back from Afghanistan on Thanksgiving Day, so we drove to Camp Lejeune in Jacksonville, NC on Wednesday so we would be there to greet him. Just got home yesterday afternoon. By tomorrow, although busy with Christmas stuff like everyone is this time of year, I hope to be able to get back to regular posting, or at least semi-regular. Hope you will visit. Thanks for checking in!!
Hugs, Val

Thankful Splendor CC246
This card is for Splitcoaststampers Color Challenge (CC246).
I cased this beautiful card by smartblonde_2000 found here: http://www.splitcoaststampers.com/gallery/photo/1458555?cat=fav&si=Pocket%20Silhouettes&perpage=12&thumbsonly=0&thumbcheck=. I love her card because it is so simple and elegant!
My image and sentiment are from a set called Autumn Spendor by Making Memories, which was stamped and heat embossed. The card base was a pre-embossed one. tfl

Don't give up on me
Hi everyone! Yep, I'm still alive! Who would believe that retired life would be so busy that you just didn't have time to blog!!!!???? Geesh! Anyway, just got back from our 3rd Anniversary cruise to the Bahamas...had a great time...attaching a few pics. Yesterday, I spent time (that I normally would have been crafting and blogging) packaging up birthday gifts...lots of them this month. Have more jewelry to make for Christmas, and shopping and packaging to do, so not much card making going on right now, but I did get some Nesties and new Cuttlebug folders that I'm anxious to use, so once the craziness is over, I'll try to get back to posting more regularly. In the meantime, thanks for checking in. Hugs!
