Winter Sparkle

This card is for Splitcoaststampers Clean and Simple challenge - CAS108 - The Great Outdoors theme.
Since moving here to our new home in CA, we see deer almost every day in our neighbor's backyard and in the field. They like to eat out of her bird feeders. It's a beautiful site and never ceases to thrill us. I know they can be a nuisance, eating plants and all, but they are just so beautiful!

Tree of Hope

This card is for today's Inspiration Challenge at Splitcoaststampers - IC273 - My inspiration is this fabric from Serena & Lily: http://www.serenaandlily.com/Fabric/...-Grass-Trellis.
I used a sketch from FTL129, found here: http://www.cleanandsimplestamping.blogspot.com/.
It doesn't show in the pic, but I used glossy accents on the pot to make it look like porcelain. tfl

Aloha!

Today's challenge at Splitcoaststampers - F4A53 - is to make a card with a Tropical/Asian/Polynesian theme. The weather here today is stormy - mix of rain and snow - lost power while trying to make this card. So....it's nice to dream of tropical things right now! This card consists of a lot of my favorite things...tropical theme, cuttlebugging, sanded core'dinations, gold cording. Hope you like it too. Thanks for stopping by!

Cheery Hi

Well, here's my first card experimenting with the Build a Blossom set. I'm entering it in the Etsy Inspired challenge, using inspiration from something on Claylicious - EIC127 - found here: http://etsyinspired.blogspot.com/2011/02/eic-127-claylicious.html. What cute things there are on this site! I was inspired by the colors on these pieces: http://www.etsy.com/listing/59208117/mug-inspired-by-haiku-japanese-poems.

Cherry Tree

Well, sorry for the sideways pic...blogger has done it to me again! Still haven't figured out how to correct this! Anyway, this card is was inspired by 2 things:
1. The cherry trees that we've seen in bloom here the last week or so...and believe it or not, today it is snowing! This CA weather sure is different than anywhere I've ever lived!
2. Splitcoaststampers Inspiration Challenge - IC272 - beautiful wall decals found here: http://www.walltat.com/Wall-Decals-Branches-and-Blossoms-p/rf-%201.45.htm.

I stamped and heat embossed the tree with chocolate chip and added the blossoms with acrylic paint on the tip of a make-up applicator.
