Butterfly Blue Patina IC298

This card is for Splitcoaststampers Inspiration Challenge - IC298 - to use something from Patina. I was inspired by the butterfly ring above. The digital butterfly stamp is from priscillastyles store, found here: http://priscillastyles-store.blogspot.com/. This card is similar to one I made the other day with a yellow butterfly. I loved the way it came out, and decided to make another, with a little bit different layout and colors. tfl

Christmas Wonderland F4A78

This card is for today's Free 4 All Challenge - F4A78 - at Splitcoaststampers - to use dry embossing as your main focal point. This is right up my alley, as it is one of my favorite techniques. I used another of my favorite things - core'dinations paper - to emboss the trees and the sentiment, then sanded to bring out the beautiful blue-green color on the back. Added stickles, a piece of wrinkled sparkly ribbon for snow, and there you go! I love the way this came out. Hope you do too!

You Are My Sunshine WT335

This card is for today's Splitcoaststampers' Ways to Use It Challenge - WT335. We were to make something warm. Can't get much warmer than sunshine! I stamped by "You Are My Sunshine" stamp, then dry embossed the sunshine. Brayered VersaMark on the dry embossing, sprinkled with clear embossing powder, and set with my heat gun. A little sun stamped inside, and orange/yellow polka dotted paper lining the inside of the front, a little baker's twine, and Voila...instant heat! Hope you like it. tfl

Dandelion Get Well Wishes CAS130

This card is for today's Clean and Simple Challenge (CAS130) at Splitcoaststampers. I stamped my favorite dandelion stamp from Hero Arts twice, then the butterfly and sentiment, both from Stampin' Up, heat embossed all, and drew the frame with a metallic gold marker. I just love this kind of simple and elegant style, don't you? tfl
