Teacup Fairy

Here is a card I made today with a beautiful digital stamp from Cowgirlup, found here: http://cowgirlupdigitalstampenranch.com/. It was just perfect for some challenges that I found today:

1. Splitcoaststampers Inspiration Challenge - IC236 - found here: http://http//www.splitcoaststampers.com/forums/showthread.php?t=494495 to find inspiration here: http://http//roses-and-teacups.com/teaware.php;

2. Color Challenge at Crazy4Challenges - C4C41 - found here: http://crazy4challenges.blogspot.com/2010/06/crazy4challenges-c4c41.html; and

3. Sketch Challenge at Taylored Expressions - TESC117 - found here: http://tayloredexpressions.blogspot.com/2010/06/taylored-expressions-sketch-challenge_11.html.

I watercolored the cute little fairy, masked the cookie and stamped and heat embossed the rose stamp onto the cup, and added glossy accents to the cup to make it look like porcelain...and it really does!!!...getting so I love that stuff!

He's a Keeper

This card is made with a brand new digital stamp created by CJ at Cowgirl Up Stamps here: http://cowgirlupdigitalstampenranch.com/. It's a great digi for a masculine card...seems there are never enough of them! CJ has just put out a whole bunch of them in her store for Father's Day!! Check them out!
I used the stamp for today's challenge at Splitcoaststampers - F4A16 - found here: http://www.splitcoaststampers.com/forums/showthread.php?t=494368. It was to make a card with the inside as your focus.
I colored my image with watercolor pencils and used my Asian cuttlebug folder...who knew it would be good for a masculine fishing card???!!! lol Added glossy accents to the splashing water, and voila! tfl

First DT & Non-Challenge Entry for Cowgirlup

This is my first entry as a DT member of http://cowgirlupdigitalstampenranch.com/. Isn't this image soooo cute??!! I used the TLC276 challenge from Splitcoastampers for my layout inspiration. It was to make a personalized card for a specific person (that would be my 16-year old granddaughter, who loves horses, and has taken riding lessons), and to use a favorite technique. I love to use watercolor pencils, and to use the out-of-the-box technique, and to recycle wallpaper samples. The bg paper is a wallpaper border sample, and the buckled rein is cut from a coordinating wallpaper sample. Thanks for looking.

Masculine Birthday Card MMSC56 CC273

This card is for my brother-in-law's birthday. I used 2 challenges for inspiration:
1. Midnight Madness Sketch Challenge - MMSC56 - found here: http://priscillastyles.blogspot.com/2010/05/midnight-madness-sketch-challenge-56.html for the layout; and
2. Splitcoaststampers Color Challenge - CC273 - found here: http://www.splitcoaststampers.com/forums/showthread.php?t=492949.
I stamped the birthday cake and sentiment with Chocolate Chip ink and colored with Copics. Then I added glossy accents to the cake stand to make it look like glass, and added a little sky blue, which was the "dessert option" for the color challenge. Added gold stickles to the candle flames and brown stickles to the chocolate birthday cake. A few washers and clips for accents, and it's done. Hand drew the candle and sentiment on the envelope. tfl
